Of course there is a lot of talk nowadays about how gifted many dyslexics are, but there are still thousands of them out there, in classrooms and boardrooms, hiding their inabilities to read and feeling anything but smart, gifted or talented. Ron Davis has always called it the Gift of Dyslexia, and his book title has earned him a lot of ridicule and scorn in the early days, when ‘disability’ would have been more often used in connection to dyslexia than ‘gift’.
