Not really that unbelievable, when you know the talents and visual-spacial awareness of the amazing Dyslexics. Nobody would argue, that the brain of a Dyslexic person lights up in different areas when reading and more or less bypasses the left hemisphere. The biggest difference between the Davis approach and the mainstream one is in the conclusion Ron Davis drew from it: Instead of using drill to instill phonics to make up for a perceived lack of left-brain activity, he uses the right brain preference to teach the Dyslexic readers how to use their visual creative talent for all their learning. I believe NASA knows what they are doing…and they are not alone in their preference for Right-Brain talent.
