Books what are they

Let’s hope it doesn’t get that far. 

I find that almost every child, especially the highly creative visual thinkers, loves books – especially once they can read and comprehend what they read. Too often I see children that have managed to read and nobody notices how little they comprehend of the story. Many parents or teachers are just so happy to see the child’s ability to de-code the words – and maybe get some basic understanding, that they don’t ask the deeper questions. 

When reading with my clients, I make sure that every sentence has been made into a slide of a movie. Once the pictures are created, not only do they comprehend the flow, recall every detail including numbers and emotions, but they will retain that knowledge for a very long time.
