My perks of having a Dyslexia Retreat

Well, there are many – especially for my clients from interstate and overseas. They don’t need travel to see me during our week together, as obviously they are living with me at the beachside retreat. But this week, the treat is mine: My lovely client arrived with his mum and four baby kangaroos in pouches, as they need to be fed every five hours.

So while I am having the pleasure of working with a very bright and gorgeous 10-year old, his mum is busy changing nappies and bottle feeding these special little guests who have been rescued from the pouches of their diseased mums. I am not sure if my client has learned more this week or I.
